I've only been in New York for two days, but already God has done so much in my heart! I simply stand in awe of His ways, His patience, and His love. What a Savior I have!
I am staying in a little apartment on Staten Island with seven other ladies. We've been enjoying getting to know each other, and figuring out the bathroom schedule. :) Just a bit tricky with only one bathroom for all eight of us.
Church this morning was good - I was able to sit in on the children's Sunday School class! They are SO cute. I'm looking forward to spending time with them tomorrow!
The need here is great. How I need my Lord - none of me counts for anything here. Only Christ can change a life. Please continue praying!
More soon! Hopefully I can post some pictures soon too. :)

I remember those bathroom schedules from camp experiences. =) I am so excited to hear that things are going well for you. I hope you'll take some pictures of those children you are helping to reach with the Gospel. Love and prayers!

I'm so glad the Lord has given you this opportunity to work with these children in NYC. I really appreciate you keeping us updated via your blog on what the Lord is teaching you and what you are doing. Not only does this help us pray for you better, but you'll love looking back on what you've written and it will remind you of the great God that we serve and how He uses and sustains His children.
